All students are required to have a well-maintained piano or keyboard. In addition to your instrument, a metronome or metronome app will be necessary. We recommend all students bring a notebook to lessons. All students must have trimmed fingernails.
If the student will be learning on a keyboard, we highly recommend that it is touch-sensitive. This means the harder a key is struck, the louder the sound will be. Also, a sustain pedal will eventually be necessary.

Our lessons are a month-to-month commitment. Payment is due on the first lesson of each month. We accept cash, personal checks and app transfers. There will be a $20 fee for all returned checks. If you plan to be absent on the first week of a month, the payment can be mailed or transferred.
Cancellations require 48 hours notice. If a cancellation is made with the required notice, we will try to arrange a make-up lesson. If a make-up lesson cannot be arranged, one lesson fee will be credited to the next month. Without the required notice, the lesson fee will be forfeited unless a make-up lesson is available at the instructor's convenience.
Only one missed lesson per calendar month is permitted regardless of notice given. We will always try to schedule make-up lessons. If more than one lesson is missed, the lesson fees exceeding one will be forfeited.
